NeoCon 2014

We’re breaking form with tradition, challenging the way flooring works, and shifting perceptions of what flooring can achieve. Scroll down and find out how.

Workplaces are changing at rapid pace. Walls and corridors have been replaced by open spaces used for group collaboration and reflective focus. These changes echo changes in our culture—one where teams have multiple jobs and those jobs evolve regularly. Mohawk has a leading role in this revolution, with new collections that bring flexibility to the workspace. We’re breaking form with tradition, challenging the way flooring works, and shifting perceptions of what flooring can achieve.

Breaking Form

The Breaking Form Collection pushes past tradition, giving designers new approaches to color, shape, scale and movement. Our collaboration with Mac Stopa of Massive Design explores bold lines and geometric patterns that transform the floor, a two-dimensional product, into something three-dimensional. Available in 3 patterns and 9 colorways, in our new 12"x36" planks.

New Vintage

The New Vintage Collection is inspired by humanity's desire to find solace, simplicity and authenticity in an ever-growing technologically driven society. New Vintage features natural colors and textures with over-dyed brights that draw influence from the antique look of handmade rugs. Our 12"x36" plank sizes allow for unique installation methods as well as unexpected patterning and geometric visuals on the floor. Available in 2 patterns and 15 colorways.

Hot & Heavy

Mohawk's luxury vinyl tile collection is a stylish and durable answer for hotel rooms, lobbies and corridors. The large-scale sequoia wood-look planks in 9"x 59" format mirror popular European hardwood design trends—and also cover a sizeable area with minimum install time. Tiles in the trendy larger size (36-inch squares) emulate contemporary stained concrete finishes and broaden this robust product line. The planks come in nine colors, and the tiles are available in eight shades. Both palettes coordinate with Durkan’s soft surface products to offer designers more flexibility.

Duracolor’s advanced fiber technology offers unsurpassed permanent stain resistance, protecting your flooring investment for the life of your installation. In addition to outstanding performance, Duracolor is one of the most sustainable fibers on the market today with 25% Post-Industrial content and 5% Post-Consumer content. 96% of all common stains can be removed with water only. Duracolor is available in 218 colors thatwill make your space shine for a lifetime.
